Read Something from your GoodReads TBR
Holy Hell. I didn’t realize there are 24 books in that list…I don’t know which one to pick! I want to read them all!
So to narrow the list I’m nixing anything to do with the Tudor court. I have had a love affair with the Cousins War/Tudor Era since elementary school and I devour books on the topic so I think to help me branch out I will make an effort not to read any for this challenge (though many will be read this year).
The books I have left to chose from are:
- Dracula by Bram Stoker
- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
- The Catcher and the Rye by J.D. Sangler
- 1984 by George Orwell
- The Hidden Diary of Marie Antoinette by Carolly Erikson
- The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
- The Man in the Iron Mask by Alexandre Dumas
- Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano
Out of 24 I can choose from 8…this should tell you much and more about me.
In any case it’s an easy choice for me:
This is one of those books that I know I will love and I feel like I should have already read it a million times over. i don’t know why i haven’t, I guess I just never stumbled across it in a bookstore.
I’m going to order it tomorrow (the exact one pictured isn’t it so pretty?!) and in the meantime I will finish The Other Queen by Philippa Gregory. I hope everyone had a safe and fun New Years celebration! I brought in 2015 on a train home from work but honestly that’s good enough for me š
PEACE
